Inaugural STATERA Survey a Great Success!

Thank you to all who participated in Statera’s Inaugural Survey of Women in Theatre!
We received over 900 responses (from all over the world!) from women who are accomplished and passionate in their fields, but who overwhelmingly feel that more needs to be done to increase support, opportunity and equality for professional theatre women.

So what’s the next step?

We will be using the results of this survey in two ways. First, it will help us shape our action plan and focus our attention on the areas that participants expressed were the most pressing for them. Secondly, it strengthens our case to influential organizations and individuals who can lend financial and moral support to our cause.

Stay Tuned!

We will be sharing results and comments from the survey in the coming weeks here on the Statera blog – so visit us often! And if you haven’t already, please add your name to our mailing list so that we can keep you informed of all of Statera’s activities and events. And thank you, again, for your participation, passion, and for all the hard work you do everyday in both your professional and your personal endeavors. Together, we can empower all theatre women to reach their full potential by bridging the gap between passion, preparation, and opportunity.

In a time lacking in truth and certainty, filled with anguish and despair, no woman should be shame-faced for attempting to give back to the world, through her work, a portion of its lost heart.
