Kristen Cerelli is an actor, director, singer-songwriter and educator who has performed across the US on tour, in regional and Off-Broadway productions, in independent film and tv. A member of Actors Equity Association, SAG-AFTRA, Lifetime Member of The Actors Studio, Kristen is an NMCA Certified Teacher of Michael Chekhov's psycho-physical acting technique. She has taught at SUNY Purchase, Raritan Valley Community College, Oklahoma Baptist University and Texas State. She is currently Assistant Professor of Acting and Voice at Oklahoma City University, where she teaches acting, scene study and dialects. As a lyricist and musician, she has written and produced two albums of original songs. Before relocating from NYC to OKC, she trained with The Newfield Network in Boulder, CO and is an ICF Certified Associate Coach. Fascinated by the intersection of the arts, organizational and positive psychology, leadership development, mindfulness and metaphysics, Kristen likes to find connection between seemingly disparate things and bring together seemingly disparate people. She has presented her work at the Florida Theatre Conference, Actorfest, The Southeastern Theatre Conference, The Arts in Society Conference, and developed and co-facilitated a 12 week leadership training program for women at a major international corporate law firm. She holds a BA from Binghamton University and an MFA from The New School.
