They are Statera's creative brain trust - an official team of friends and allies using social media platforms to share Statera-related news and strengthen our grassroots movement for gender parity in the theatre. Tiffany Denise Hobbs has trained for over two decades at prestigious performing arts institutions, including Southern Methodist University (MFA), Yale School of Drama, and The Second City. She loves every minute of imitating life onstage, on set or in any other designated sacred space.
Tiffany has taught undergraduate non-major acting at Southern Methodist as well as high school theater at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing Arts and summer drama camp at The Dallas Theater Center. She has also worked extensively as a casting associate and assistant at multiple regional theaters and for television and film companies.
A former member of the Brierley Resident Acting Company at the Dallas Theater Center, Tiffany’s favorite roles include Tonya in King Hedley II, Juanita in Blues for Mister Charlie, Beneatha in A Raisin in the Sun and Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing. Other regional credits: The C. A. Lyons Project (Alliance Theater); Race (True Colors Theatre); SPUNK (WaterTower Theatre); Stagger Lee, Clybourne Park, Cabaret, and A Christmas Carol (Dallas Theater Center). National Tour: Broadway’sThe Lion King (as Shenzi). TV: “Atlanta”, “Scream”, “The Haunting of Hill House”, "Code Black". Film: “Dallas Buyers Club”.
