11:30 am - 1:00 pm
An award-winning documentary, Catching Sight of Thelma & Louise, screens in New York City at the Women’s International Film and Arts Festival (WIFF) on Saturday, March 10th at 11:30 a.m.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Jennifer Townsend, Director. The Festival takes place at The Village East Cinemas. Based on viewers’ reactions to ‘Thelma & Louise’ in 1991, the film, at its essence, is about how women experience the world. It is timely, powerful and authentic. This film reminds us that one of the reasons women identify with Thelma and Louise is because they were ‘MeToo’ women. Visit www.CatchingSightOf.com for more information.
