BECKY Merold  |  Breakout Session

Join Becky Merold, Production Manager for the Utah Shakespeare Festival, for a dynamic breakout session entitled "Beyond Gender: A Career Progression".

This year, Statera Conference programming will include "working breakfasts" where attendees can choose to share a meal with a group of people interested in a focused conversation surrounding a certain topic. Becky will be facilitating a discussion for technical theatre artists during our Saturday morning working breakfast.

Becky Merold is in her second season as the Production Manager at the Utah Shakespeare Festival. Prior to production managing, she spent 12 years as a stage manager at various regional theaters including, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Milwaukee Repertory Theater and the Utah Shakespeare Festival.

Besides all of her “normal” production management duties, Becky has spent the last 2 years helping to coordinate the opening of the new Beverly Taylor Sorenson Center for the Arts. This new complex includes a new outdoor Shakespeare theater, a black-box, office spaces, rehearsal hall, and costume shop.

Becky received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from the Conservatory of Theater Arts at Webster University and is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in Arts Administration at Southern Utah University. She has been a proud member of the Actors’ Equity Association for 14 years.
