Camilla Morrison | Breakout Session
Camilla will be joined by Kyla Kazuschyk for a session called "Creating Spaces! The Power and Possibility of Devised Theatre"
Camilla Morrison is a Costume Designer, Draper, artist, and teacher. She currently teaches and designs at the University of North Dakota where she recently designed The Wolves, The Wizard of Oz, Speech and Debate, and Mr. Burns, A Post Electric Play. Camilla earned her MFA in Costume Design and Technology at Louisiana State University and her BA in Theatre from Salisbury University. Her Costume Design credits at LSU include Swine Palace's productions of Noises Off, Vieux Carre, Carrie the Musical, and Stick Fly. Camilla was the Costume Design Fellow at the Hangar Theater in Ithaca, NY where she designed four experimental productions and four Theatre for Young Audiences productions.
Previously, Camilla worked in the Washington D.C. area as a freelance Costume Designer, Stage Manager, Teaching Artist, and Arts Administrator. Camilla is a recipient of the Board of Regents Fellowship from Louisiana State University. This summer Camilla will join the Texas Shakespeare Festival for a third season as a Cutter/Draper and will design their TYA production The Lovely Step-Sister.
