Melinda Pfundstein | EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Executive Director and co-founder of Statera Foundation, Melinda is a director, actor, educator, administrator, advocate for women in the arts, and mother of three young women. She holds an MA in Arts Administration from Southern Utah University, where she also completed her undergraduate work in theatre and dance performance.
Most recently, she directed The Merchant of Venice at Utah Shakespeare Festival. Select regional credits include the Utah Shakespeare Festival (18 seasons), Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Renaissance Theaterworks, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, The Skylight and First Stage Children’s Theatre. Directing credits include The Merchant of Venice at the Utah Shakespeare Festival (summer 2018), A Midsummer Night’s Dream, USF’s Shakespeare in the Schools Tour; Urinetown, The Spitfire Grill, RENT, Dancing at Lughnasa, the Mountain West BFA Actor Showcase in NY, and Touring Productions at Southern Utah University.
A certified Pilates instructor, Melinda formerly owned and operated Breathe Pilates and Wellness in downtown Milwaukee. She is a member of the Actor’s Equity Association, and received the 2001 Michael and Jan Finlayson Acting Award at the Utah Shakespeare Festival.
